Wegdam High School – Secondary - Kamakwie
The Wegdam High School was established in 2021 after a high performance of candidates in the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) during the 2020/2021 academic year which placed the school in first position in the Sella Limba Chiefdom and 2nd position of the whole Karene District. The students demanded the establishment of a Secondary school in protest and family members and community stakeholders joined forces in demanding WYCF to consider their request. Considering the distance children covers to access school, high performance and extra support the organisation is providing to children and families, they are satisfied about the work we do and trust that WYCF can bring positive, quality and sustainable education to their children. The school currently enrolled 105 children, 58 boys and 47 girls
